Aprilaire 613 Replacement Air Filters filter the air with MERV-13 efficiency. This means they can remove 90% of pollen/mold spores measuring 0.3 to 10 microns, 90% of dust particles measuring 1 to 3 microns, and 76% of virus-size particles measuring 0.3 to 1 micron. Each filter features Aprilaire's self-sealing no-leak technology for completely clean air.

I replace my filter every six months. It appears this is the right time because the filter is dirty. Which means the filter is preforming as advertised. The filter packaging was good.
