The Airzone Wireless Interface Adapter allows you to control your mini split system right from your smartphone. With full two-way communication with your ductless system you'll have total control of your Daikin mini split including setting operating modes, creating schedules, receive notifications, and much more.
Download the free DKN Cloud North America app from the App Store or Google Play and register your system, log in, and the app will find your mini split AC.
Note: It is necessary to install the Airzone Wireless Interface Adapter on each Daikin indoor unit you want to control.

Shipping was fast and easy. The units were surprisingly easy to install though slightly awkward once installed. But, more importantly, operating the units was not nearly as forgiving. First, the constellation of Daikin affiliated apps is beyond confusing. But, once you find the right app, the features leave much to be desired. Getting the units connected to the app was on par with most smart devices. But the interface is quite bland and clunky. Two big fails: I found that the units dropped off of the network frequently. Also, there is a bizarre quirk where the units would continue to respond to schedules even after the schedules had been deleted. The Google Home integration is downright abysmal. The devices are just there but offer nearly no functionality. No ability to even turn the units on or off let alone set temperatures. All in all, this was a low value purchase. Entirely too expensive for too little functionality. There are better third party options available for far less.

Right producr with quick delivery. An easy way to add wifi control to your heat pump. Installation is pretty simple with instructions easy to find on the internet. Connection to the app is a bit more challenging and its difficult to get help from the mfr.- not the fault of Sylvane.

Honestly you're better off with a third party wifi solution. The app is lacking. Check out mini split controllers.

I ended up returning this. My Daikin 17 series required an adapter that Sylvane was unable to get for me, and they were gracious enough to take a return on this wireless interface, without any problems. I still am unable to find out which adapter that you even need. I called Daikin, and they will not support home owner at all. They want even tell you which adapter will make it work. My HVAC guy did not want to deal with trying to get the right part from them, so I was left with no other option than returning it.
