Quickly give your home shop, garage, or warehouse heating with the Dr. Infrared Heater DR966 Garage & Commercial Heater. Offering 20,500 BTUs of supplemental or primary heating to spaces between 300 – 600 square feet, this hardwired, 240-volt heater warms up areas with the variable thermostat knob. The 8-inch internal fan quickly suffuses warmth with an internal steel spiral heating element. The fan-forced heater can either be ceiling- or wall-mounted with the included arm bracket.
Other features include permanently sealed ball bearing motor, corrosion resistant exterior, adjustable louvers, and more.
Onboard Heating Features
Offering supplemental heating to areas between 300 – 600 square feet, this 14.5-inch high, fan-forced heater uses a power 8-inch fan to infuse any area with heat. Switch the heater on or off with the onboard rocker switch. Other features include:
- Variable Thermostat Knob: Use the onboard adjustable, variable thermostat knob to find the ideal temperature.
- Fan Settings: Select between 2 fan settings—low (3,000 watts) or high (6,000-watts) for diffusing warmth.
- Even Heating: The steel spiral heating element delivers even heating and long-lasting use.
- Adjustable Louvers: Manually adjust the 5 horizontal louvers for directional heating.
- Adjustable Tilt: For further directional heating, use the tightening screws to tilt the heater forwards or backwards.

Tough Construction
Offering long usage, this heater is durably built with a steel stamped front that protects the internal components. The permanently sealed, lubricated motor is protected against dust and large dust debris that may get kicked up in working environments. An epoxy painted exterior guards against corrosion and rust in harsh temperatures, and the sturdy arm bracket holds the 27-pound heater for ceiling or wall-mounting.
