Gently warm up dorms, bedrooms, studio apartments, and other well-insulated living spaces with the Dr. Infrared Heater DR968 Original Space Heater. With a heating capacity of 1,000 square feet and 5,200 BTUs of infrared radiant heating, this 17-inch-high floor heater features 100,000 hours of use. Safety features ensure peace of mind for use at home, and the infrared heating is exceptional for aches and pains, improved circulation, and more.
Other features include an adjustable thermostat, a remote control, a programmable timer, a washable filter, and more.
Smart Heater: Temperature Regulation
Designed to monitor your ambient temperature, the heater will kick off after reaching the desired temperature. The internal fan will run for 60 seconds every 4 minutes, only kicking on when the temperature drops 2 degrees below the set temperature. Adjust the thermostat between 50 and 86 degrees F. Rooms up to 1,000 square feet stay warmer for longer with supplementary infrared heating.
Infrared Radiant Heating
With quiet infrared heating, this freestanding floor heater heats with a quartz infrared tube and a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) ceramic heating element that lasts for 100,000 hours of use. Additionally, the silent infrared heat infuses objects and warms under the skin, while infrared heating relieves aches and pains from arthritis and injuries, improves circulation, and reduces moisture in the air.

Due to the pandemic, I wanted to be able to entertain company and eat outdoors on the deck as far as possible into the fall. This heater glides smoothly on its wheels to move it in and out of the house easily. It heats up quickly and makes a real difference in comfort. I love the look of it and the convenience of the remote, too.
