The Ebac CS60 Commercial Dehumidifier controls damaging humidity in a variety of applications from offices and laboratories, to restaurants and basements. A compact design makes it ideal for tight spaces or areas where minimal intrusion is required.
This high-capacity, crawl space dehumidifier features an automatic humidistat and continuous draining capability to fully automate the dehumidifying process.

Fully Automatic Dehumidifying for Remote Areas
The Ebac CS60 features a pre-wired humidistat which allows you to set a desired humidity level to maintain for your space. During operation, the unit will switch on and off intermittently without user intervention to maintain the humidity setting and save energy.
Use the supplied 10-foot-long, 0.472 inch I.D. continuous drain hose that attaches to the external condensate connection point. During operation, collected condensate drains continuously to a nearby drain or another suitable location.
Compact Size and Rugged Construction
Space constraints and harsh conditions can limit your dehumidifying solutions. Measuring just 14 x 14 x 20 inches, the Ebac CS60 installs snugly in narrow, low-clearance spots as a reliable standalone solution.
Ebac's signature rugged construction enables the unit to handle the wear and tear of extreme conditions. Constructed with a galvanized steel chassis finished with an epoxy powder coating, this unit delivers years of reliable use.
Additional Features
- Daily Moisture Removal: This unit extracts 56 pints of moisture per day in AHAM testing conditions (80 degrees F, 60% relative humidity) processing 360 cubic feet of air per minute.
- Rotary Compressor: A highly efficient rotary compressor ensures maximum moisture extraction at the lowest running costs.
- "Hot Gas" Defrosting Feature: Ebac's "Hot Gas" reverse cycle defrost feature automatically melts away frost buildup in low temperatures, allowing successful operation in temperatures down to 33 degrees F.
- Washable Air Filter: The washable, slide-out filter keeps the unit running efficiently and removes particulates from the air while dehumidifying.
- Anti-Vibration Feet: Rubber anti-vibration feet ensure that the dehumidifier remains stable and any vibration kept to a minimum.
- Collapsible Carrying Handles: Move the dehumidifier more easily using carrying handles that collapse conveniently to save space.

We have a 900 sq ft crawl space with a plastic-covered dirt floor, a real challenge for any humidity-control measures. There were mildew problems and moisture damage in many items stored there, and a small room dehumidifier proved ineffective. Even though I had read the dimensions of the CS60 before ordering it, I was surprised at its compact size. As the unit would be mounted in the crawl space below our bedroom, I was concerned about the possibility of some noise disturbance, when in fact the unit is so quiet that one barely hears it in the crawl space, itself. Drilling through the cinder block wall for the drain was also a concern, but this was solved by tapping into the existing A/C drain. My on-line research indicated that the CS60 uses less power than other comparable units, but most important is that, even on rainy days, our crawl space humidity now stays in a satisfactory range.

Poor refrigerant circuit design and controls. Try Aprilaire units. Designed better and has 4 more years of warranty and labor. They simply make their units to last more than Ebac 1 year mftr wnty

Works well as long as the humidity control is all the way up. The defrost cycle only kicks after the machine has been running constantly for 55 minutes. If the control is not at maximum and air temp is less than 80 degrees (F) the unit will cycle on and off based on humdity, which is normally fine, but every time it shuts off it restarts that 55 minute timer so that it never goes into defrost mode and will eventually build up a block of ice that will prevent dehumidification. As long as the control is at Max, it works fine but is expensive to run because it never shuts off.

Product does exactly what it's supposed to do - and does it well. Unobtrusive, easy to set up and install. Electrical draw is quite reasonable. Maintains constant cap on humidity level. Ideal for use in basement. Maintenance is minimal.
