Aprilaire Pleat Spacer 4270 for Models 2400/5000. The Aprilaire Pleat Spacer is designed to support the filtering media for even loading of particulate throughout the Air Purifier media. This will ensure maximum life from it. Six pleat spacers are needed for every Model 2400 and 5000.

They are inserted into an accordion type filter to hold the pleats apart for proper ventilation. They are necessary and they are great!

After they were installed they worked as they should however selection of the correct spacer was tricked. If you have the filter number no problem however without it be prepared to call the manufacturer with all measurements and tooth count ready. Aprilaire was very when I called and I got the correct spacer. I would buy this product again. Dan Shaw
