The Ebac K100P Dehumidifier extracts 97 pints of moisture per day in AHAM conditions (80 degrees F, 60% relative humidity). Measuring in at 17 inches high, 28 inches wide, and 18 inches deep, the K100P is relatively compact when compared to other rugged dehumidifiers of similar capacities. The rectangular-shaped system is compact and includes an integrated skid frame to make it easier to move the unit from location to location. You can also mount it and duct it permanently for long-term humidity control in your desired area.

How It Works

This unit is a refrigerant dehumidifier, which means it uses a high-efficiency refrigeration system to condense moisture from humid air, which reduces the air's overall humidity level. During operation, humid air is drawn into the dehumidifier with the help of an efficient internal fan. Air first passes over a cold evaporator coil where moisture is condensed and deposited inside an internal drain container.

Dehumidified air is then re-heated by a heat recovery system and distributed throughout the treatment space. This process continues, and the relative humidity in your space is gradually reduced for as long as the unit operates.

Reliable Automated Operation

The K100P includes a built-in adjustable humidistat and a high-powered internal condensate pump. Both of these features make it possible to set up reliable automated dehumidifying and draining without user intervention. To setup the dehumidifier, first, choose your ideal spot and use the knob control to select the desired humidity level you want to maintain in the space. Then, you'll connect the included drain hose to the pump drain port and route it to a desired location.

Once operation begins, collected condensate can be pumped out of the unit vertically for up to 20 feet. It can also be pumped horizontally for up to 100 feet. During operation, the unit will switch on and off intermittently to maintain the humidity setting and save energy.
