Snuggle in on those cold winter days near the Heat Storm Wave Floor to Wall Infrared Portable Heater. Offering 5,118 BTUs of infrared, fan-forced heating for spaces up between 50 - 100 square feet, this plug in heater is great for small bedrooms, offices, or drafty areas of the home. The patented heat exchanger ensures that maximum heat is pushed out via the infrared bulbs without heat loss from the unit. With 2 fan power levels (High) and (Low), you can infuse heat throughout quickly, or enjoy at a low temperature with zone heating.
Energy-Efficient Heating
Designed to help reduce energy output, these heaters feature an energy-efficient operating mode. When the temperature is between the highest set and lowest temperature, the heater will power on at half power to reduce energy usage and overheating the ambient room temperature.
Supplementary Infrared Heating
Easy to use and program, the Heat Storm HS-1000-WA greatly enhances ambient temperature with soft infrared heating with zone heating. Zone heating is great for heating rooms or spaces in your home, as opposed to heating multiple rooms like central heating. With zone heating, you can start enjoying warmth in your living space in as little as 30 minutes.
Safety
Integrated safety comes standard with Heat Storm Wave Heater. Safety features for your home and family include:
- Bathroom-Friendly: This heater comes with an insulated plastic backing, further protecting against electric shock when used in the bathroom.
- Cool to the Touch: Great for homes with kids and pets, the exterior casing and grill are cool to the touch.
- Anti-Trip Technology: Designed to not trip your breakers, this heater is equipped with anti-trip technology.
- Internal Thermostat Limiter: The internal thermostat limiter is designed to shut-off the heater in case of overheating or abnormal heating.
- Child-Lock: Engaging the child-lock feature locks the digital panel from temperature adjustments and calibration.
**It is not recommended to run more than 1 appliance on a single circuit breaker to prevent tripped breakers. Be sure the Heat Storm HS-1000-WA is on its own outlet and circuit breaker.
Digital Display
- High Display: Quickly fill the room with heat with the high heat option indicated by a red leaf on the digital display.
- Low Display: When the heat is on low, the green light will display on the digital display.
- F/C Display: Toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius readout on the digital control panel.
- Ambient Temperature Readout: The ambient temperature in the room is displayed on the large LED control panel.
- Temperature Setting Mode: The temperature setting mode will blink on the LED display, indicating the desired temperature is being set. Set the temperature between 40 - 99 degrees F.
- Thermostat Calibration: The Heat Storm heater can be calibrated to your home HVAC system.
- Remote Control: The remote control allows you to power ON and program your temperature from across the room. Turn the heater on and adjust the temperature in 1 degree increments to raise or lower the temperature in temperature setting mode.
**Calibrating the Heat Storm thermostat to your home thermostat may cause the heater to lose efficiency. It is best to allow the Heat Storm to calibrate ambient temperature with Zone Heating.
Installation Options
- Wall-Mounted: Mount the heater on the wall with the included mounting hardware. Rubber feet are affixed to the back to ensure your walls stay blemish free.
- Optional Feet: For portability, place the optional, removable feet on the bottom of the heater for placement on desks, tabletops, and under desks.
Additional Features
- Side Intake Filter: The side intake filter is washable and is built for long-lasting use.
- ETL Certified: This product is built to ETL certifications and safety.
- Internal Fan: An internal cooling fan provides additional cooling to interior components of the heater 5 minutes after heater shuts-off.
