With the refurbished Hessaire MC18M Evaporative Cooler, you can keep cool in hot weather for areas up to 500 square feet, indoors or outside. Thanks to the incredible power efficiency, it only costs $0.01 per hour to operate. This compact and lightweight swamp cooler effectively supplies 1,300 CFM of cool, moistened airflow exactly where you need it, thanks to a set of casters and a carrying handle.
- Cooling Media Pads: Compared to a single pad in other swamp coolers, this Hessaire unit has three hi-density XeL50 cooling media pads to provide 80 percent more evaporation surface to improve efficiency and cooler temperatures.
- Water Tank: The 4.8-gallon water reservoir provides refreshing airflow for three to four hours. A level window in front lets you know the current water level at a glance.
- User-Friendly Controls: Turn the knob to power the cooler on or off, select one of the two fan speeds, or activate the water pump.
- Adjustable Louvers: You can manually adjust each louver to change the airflow direction to provide personalized cooling.
- Standard Plug: This air cooler plugs into any standard 115-volt outlet.
Note: Evaporative swamp coolers are most effective in dry climates with an average relative humidity of 40 percent or less.

This is a manufacturer-refurbished Hessaire evaporative air cooler. It may have minor cosmetic damage, but it is backed by a one-year warranty.
Two Water Fill Options
- Continuous Water Fill: You can use a standard garden hose for a constant water supply by connecting the hose to the external connection on the back of the cooler. An internal float valve will prevent water spillage outside of the cooler.
- Manual Water Fill: Alternately, you can use the manual water fill door to access and fill the water tank using the water level display window.

This is my 2nd one of these in 5 years from Sylvane. Other one still going strong. I had looked at one in town at a large store chain. Same price but could pick up. What I found out after ordering first online the price was adjusted $19 upward as it was added to my cart. Tried three times and then blip. 4th time it didn't show labor day price.
Went back to Sylvane and ordered and treated , well like a real company. Thank you, David n.
