Improving upon the features of the hugely popular Honeywell HPA200, the Energy Star rated Honeywell HPA250B Bluetooth Air Purifier takes user-friendly functionality to the next level. With it’s Bluetooth integration, users can control the unit remotely directly on a smartphone or tablet.
Dual Filtration for Medium-Sized Rooms
Some compact air purifiers lack in filtration, but the Honeywell tabletop air purifier is packed with full size filtration for rooms up to 300 square feet:
- Carbon Filter: Activated carbon pre-filter reduces odors and VOCs. Replace the filter every 3 months for best use. Not only does this filter absorb household odors from the air, but it extends the life of the HEPA Filter by capturing large particles like pet hair, dust, lint, and other fibers.
- HEPA Filtration: True HEPA filter traps 99.97% of tiny allergens down to .3 microns. This filter traps large items like dust and pet dander and tiny airborne particles like allergens and bacteria.
Operate with Control Panel or Remotely with Bluetooth
Providing the ultimate in user experience, the Honeywell Bluetooth Smart Air Purifier turns your smartphone or tablet into a remote control. Operate the unit from up to 30 feet away directly on your handheld device by downloading the Honeywell Portable Console Air Purifier App (iTunes Store).
Make these setting changes on your phone with the Bluetooth option or on the control panel:
- Proximity Sensing: Allows the unit to automatically turn off when you leave home and are out of Bluetooth range. When you return, it will restart on its own.
- Automatic Operation: The VOC Sensor option will automatically adjust settings based on its readings of VOC levels in your home. To run the unit based on your location’s outdoor pollen levels, select the Allergen Auto-Set function.
- Timer: Program the unit to turn off in 1 hour increments up to 18 hours.
- Scheduling: Set the unit to turn on and off, or program your desired cleaning level for specific days/times.
- Filter Notifications: Monitor the remaining life of the filters and instantly know when they need to be replaced.
- Dimmer: Useful if the unit is placed in a bedroom, the dimmer option allows you to adjust the brightness of the air cleaner’s LED lights.
- Four Fan Speeds: Choose between Low, Medium, High or Turbo modes. In Turbo mode, its most powerful speed, will clean and replace all the room’s air 5 times per hour.

Great product. Does all the stuff it is supposed to do well. Only issue is the iOS and Android app which allows phones to connect with the purifier does not connect consistently on iOS and the Android app is not available.

Came in a timely manner. Works. The scheduler turns off as soon as you touch the machine, so if you want it to run on a timer, you need to basically set it using the app and then never touch the machine again. I'm assuming the scheduler issue is hardware related otherwise you would think they would have updated the app to fix it.
