I appreciate that this product avoids the need for disposable filters. However, when removing it from my Honeywell air conditioner to wash it, it tends to snag and the plastic borders can easily crack when this happens. Once the plastic border is cracked, the filter can jam in place and be difficult to remove or reinsert without jamming. So far, this has happened twice necessitating two replacements. If this part is ever discontinued and my filter cracks again, it will render an otherwise functional portable A/C useless.

This filter was just what I needed. Only issue I have is that I had to order twice because the first order was lost by USPS and took 24 days to receive.
