Description
The Innovative WH85 Professional Series Whole House Dehumidifier removes up to 85 pints of moisture per day at AHAM (80 degrees F, 60% RH) conditions on spaces up to 1,900 square feet (or 15,000 cubic feet). With easy installation and user-friendly features, this whole home dehumidifier packs a lot of performance in a small package.
Fast and Easy Installation
Because the WH85 Professional Series Innovative Dehumidifier can be plugged into a dedicated 15-amp GFCI-protected circuit, setting it up is truly simple. This whole-house dehumidifier can also be hard-wired if desired.
- Standalone Installation: To effectively dehumidify a crawl space or basement, seal the area, place the WH85 on a level surface, set up the drain line, and plug it in.
- Ducted or HVAC Installation: For ducted applications or for use with your air conditioning system, simply use the included duct collars for both inlet and outlet ducting. You can duct the dehumidifier up to 10 feet.
Simple and Effective Operation
This Innovative Dehumidifier system has a simple control panel for powering the dehumidifier on, setting the desired humidity level, and selecting the operating mode. Once the humidity setpoint is determined, the WH85 will work to maintain the desired level.
To quickly remove accumulated moisture or reduce high humidity, you can set the humidity level below 36 percent RH and allow this whole-house dehumidifier to run continually until your space is comfortable and dry. Then, set the RH above 36 percent to the preferred maintenance level, and the dehumidifier will switch back to normal operation.
Optional Remote Control Package
For ease of operation, you can install the Innovative Dehumidifier remote control package with an onboard sensor at the unit, plus a remote sensor for ducted areas. (Purchase separately)

- Efficient Operation: This whole home dehumidifier operates with an efficient COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 2.71 L/kWh.
- Eco-Friendly Refrigerant: This efficient dehumidifier is also earth-friendly, using R-32 refrigerant for dehumidification.
- Auto Defrost: During operation, the coils can become frosted, causing the dehumidifier to stop operating. The WH85 has an automatic defrost function, so you never need to worry.
- Auto Restart: Even if you’re away from home, you won’t have to worry in case of a power outage. This whole-home dehumidifier automatically restarts, retaining your settings, when power is restored.
- Air Filter: The WH85 includes an air filter that captures unwanted particulates, keeping the air in your space cleaner and drier.
- Digital Display: You’ll always be able to see the current relative humidity (RH) on the display screen and use it to create the desired setpoint.
- Wide Humidity Range Available: You can choose a relative humidity setting between 36 and 90 percent RH.
- Optional Remote Control Package: Using an integrated sensor, this package gives you options for remotely controlling the WH85 dehumidifier.
