Description
The Kidde Nighthawk Plug-In Carbon Monoxide Alarm features 9V battery back-up and digital display to continuously guard your home against the presence of carbon monoxide.
When CO is detected, the Nighthawk will issue 4 quick beeps with a 5-second pause in between. With a choice of mounting options, you can place one or more in the most strategic places in your home or business.
Calibrated CO Detection
Kidde’s Nighthawk CO Alarm is equipped with electrochemical sensing technology to detect and store measured data of concentrated carbon monoxide levels as low as 11 PPM up to 999 PPM. It includes a peak level memory display button which displays the peak CO level recorded since the last reset. Response times are as follows:
- 70 PPM: 60-240 minutes
- 150 PPM: 10-50 minutes
- 400PPM: 4-15 minutes
Mounting Options
To help you with optimal placement of the detector, you can mount Nighthawk with direct plug into a standard outlet, use the 6-foot power cord if you need to mount it higher on the wall away from an outlet, or use the stand to place on a tabletop.
Battery Back-Up
This effective carbon monoxide detector provides 9-volt battery back-up use. Easy to install and replace when needed, allowing the Nighthawk to continue operation during a power outage.
Additional Features
- Versatile Mounting: The adapter on the Kidde Nighthawk can be rotated to accommodate a vertically or horizontally oriented outlet.
- Peak Level Memory: You will be alerted to a peak level event when CO concentrations are greater than 100 PPM. The display will alternate between PCO and the measured concentration in PPM. When you press the Peak Level button, the display shows the highest CO reading since its last reset or power up.
- Test/Reset Button: Use to test the unit for proper operation and to reset the CO alarm.
- LED Operation: Blinking dot in lower right corner of display denotes normal operation.
- Digital Display: Displays the level of CO the unit is sensing and updates the reading every 15 seconds.
