KwiKool 60,000 BTU 5-Ton Portable AC - Made in the USASome of the most powerful models on the market, the KwiKool 60,000 BTU portable air conditioners are perfect for high-powered commercial cooling in spaces up to 2,000 square feet. These American-made portable ACs are ideal for immediate cooling in large server rooms, industrial spaces, commercial buildings, and offices.

All of these air cooled models include an internal condensate pump for continuous use, multiple safeguards for safe operation, and easily-adjustable digital controls.

Note: For proper and efficient operation, a ceiling duct kit is required. This KwiKool portable AC is designed for commercial use only.

Electrical Requirements

There are 3 electrical options for this model, highlighted below. Be sure your industrial space is wired to match these requirements. One model uses a single-phase motor, while the other two use three-phase motors. Also check the voltage requirements for each:

  • KwiKool 6021: Voltage 230-volts Single Phase Amps - 50
  • KwiKool 6023: Voltage 230-volts three Phase Amps - 40
  • KwiKool 6043: Voltage 460-volts three Phase Amps - 20

*Professional installation is required for all 5-ton models.

**The KwiKool 6043 model has 1 fan speed. The KwiKool 6021 and 6023 models have a 3-speed fan.

Required Accessories

Ducting and flanges aren’t included with this KwiKool portable AC. Depending on whether you’re replacing an existing unit and already have the parts or not, based on your needs you will need to purchase either a set of condenser flanges, a ceiling duct kit, or an air chute kit.

Continuous Operation

You have 2 operating options:

  • Temporary Use: Its large external tank holds up to 5 gallons of water for short-term operation. An alarm will sound and operation will shut off if the tank is full.
  • Continuous Use: Internal pump lifts water up and out of the unit for continuous operation (condensate can travel to drains up to 150 square feet away). An alarm will sound and operation will cut off if an issue with the pump or drain hose is detected.

No Worry Operation

You can confidently run this model for hours of continuous use thanks to these features:

  • An internal fan is used to cool down the motor to avoid overheating.
  • High pressure switch automatically turns off the unit if it's subjected to ambient temperatures higher than it can handle or if the condenser ducting is longer than the recommended length.
  • Low pressure switch protects the compressor from low-pressure damage in case the condenser air pressure drops below the recommended level.
  • Alarm will sound and operation will shut down if there's a blockage of air flow from the ducts.

  • Insulated motor for efficient operation
  • Hinged filter panel is built to stand the test of time and make accessing the filter a breeze.
  • Creates no negative air pressure since it uses a 2-ways ceiling duct kit to cool down the unit. One of the hoses pulls air in from the ceiling to cool down the unit as it cools, while the second is used to release warm, moisturized air back up into the ceiling/ducting area. Add this impressive ceiling duct kit (required for operation).

Simple Digital Controls

  • Digital thermostat that lets you set your ideal temperature
  • Direct drive fan that pushes cool air directly out the vent and into your space
  • Adjustable vent controls airflow
  • Choose between cool and fan-only modes.
  • Choose to display the temperature in C or F.

  • Auto-Restart: If you were to lose power, it will turn back on to the previously programmed settings once power is restored.
