Description
The KwiKool KIB4221 uses 42,000 BTUs of power to cool up to 1,400 square feet of industrial space. This commercial-grade portable AC is great for large commercial rooms like server rooms, industrial plants, and offices. Made in the USA, it's perfect for spot cooling in areas where electrical equipment creates a heat load.
Installed with a ceiling drop kit, it includes an internal condensate pump, high efficiency features, and various safeguards for continuous operation.
Note: This KwiKool portable AC is designed for commercial use only.

Continuous Operation
You have two operating options with the KwiKool KIB4221:
- Temporary Use: Its large external tank holds up to 5 gallons of water for short-term operation. If the tank is full, an alarm will sound and the operation will shut off.
- Continuous Use: An internal pump lifts water up and out of the unit for continuous operation (condensate can travel to drains up to 150 square feet away). An alarm will sound and operation will be cut off if an issue with the pump or drain hose is detected. The condensate line generally goes up into the drop ceiling with the duct kit and back down into a nearby drain (the pump offers pressure up to 20 feet high).
Required Accessories
Ducting and flanges aren’t included with this KwiKool portable AC. Depending on whether you’re replacing an existing unit and already have the parts or not, based on your needs, you will need to purchase either a set of condenser flanges, a ceiling duct kit, or an air chute kit.

Digital Control Board

- Choose between cool and fan-only modes.
- Select between 3 fan speeds. Select "Auto" fan speed, which selects a speed based on your set temperature.
- Choose to display the temperature in C or F.
Safe Guards
You can confidently run this model for hours of continuous use thanks to these features:
- An internal fan is used to cool down the motor to avoid overheating.
- The high-pressure switch automatically turns off the unit if it's subjected to ambient temperatures higher than it can handle or if the condenser ducting is longer than the recommended length.
- The low-pressure switch protects the compressor from low-pressure damage in case the condenser air pressure drops below the recommended level.
- An alarm will sound, and the operation will shut down if there's a blockage of air flow from the ducts.
