Wi-Fi Enabled Control
Simply download the SmartThinQ app to your phone (iTunes, Google Play) and connect the LG LP1419IVSM to your device. Once connected, you’ll have full control from anywhere, including setting the temperature, creating a schedule, changing the operating mode, and more.

In addition to delivering a 10,000 BTU cooling performance, this LG portable air conditioner is equipped with multiple operating modes for delivering maximum comfort all summer long.
- Dry Mode: This dehumidification setting removes 6.8 pints of excess moisture every hour.
- Auto Cool: Simply set your desired room temperature and the unit will choose the right settings to achieve it.
- Fan Only Mode: Great for those days when you just need a circulation of fresh air, this mode uses a 4-speed fan to keep the airflow going.

We have only had the LG portable AC for about 2 months and it's been cool at the beach so it has mostly sat idle but here are our early thoughts: Very quiet- even on high it did not interfere with watching TV in the room Quick and easy start up Remote works from far away- at least 20 feet AC works for us with a larger room area very well We had prior history with a older Honeywell unit and there is no comparison. Much quieter, better cooling and easier to move to other rooms as needed. We could not have company over or watch tv if the unit was on high. We hope this good luck continues...

This is the best portable AC unit on the market. It is quiet and incredibly efficient, using about $1/day of electricity when running full blast for 18-20h/day in the Seattle area. Wifi features are reliable and useful as well, including energy monitoring hidden in the product settings.
