It's quiet and cools the lanai down. Once you figure out which instructions to use it's ok. I haven't tried the heat being that it's summer down here. The old unit was a 12000 btu but I couldn't find one with heat so I settled for this 10000 btu unit. It is working good.

Used this to replace an ancient through the wall unit. This is quiet, we are using it to sufficiently cool our entire ground floor (1000 sq ft), and it has worked flawlessly for the last month, now that its on full time. When we finally install central air, I'll move it to my workshop (also 1000 sq ft), the heating part that we're not using will be great.

It does not work. Received a model with a broken compressor. Cannot get customer service to help with pickup and I am stuck with a huge, heavy, defective A/C until on a third floor walk up. Thanks, Faye Neri!
