This window-mount air cooler installs easily in standard hung sash or slider-style windows. Using a 4,000-CFM axial fan, this system powerfully cools areas up to 1,600 square feet.

After 4 1/2 hours still not installed. Pump pumps water out of over flow hose not up to wet the pads. No instructions discussing this. Manual describes parts unassembled. To cool house house the high speed is so loud you can't watch tv or carry on conversation. I don't recommend.

The unit it's a good unit as long as the control module doesn't go out and then it starts shutting down by itself which makes it useless. I have been trying to buy the control module and when I called Mastercool they didn't have it in stock. No one else has it and whomever does wants over 100 dollars for something that cost half the price. The upsetting part of this problem is the manufacturer doesn't carry the part that most people complain about.

This thing requires that it be level. Perfectly level. The water is distributed to the pads on a tray with holes for the pads to get the water. If not level not all the pad gets get damp to do the cooling. May be ok for small apartment.
