Description
The Soleus Air 50-Pint Dehumidifier with Mirage Display offers an excellent way to manage indoor moisture throughout the year. With the ability to extract 50 pints of moisture daily, it is highly effective in areas up to 800 square feet, such as living rooms, bedrooms, basements, and beyond.
You can choose from two different models: a standard dehumidifier equipped with a garden hose connector for gravity draining or an internal pump model that can vertically pump water up to 16 feet. This ensures that there is an option suitable for any space.
Two Models to Choose From
Choose the right Soleus Air 50-Pint Dehumidifier for your home. There are two choices available:
- Soleus Air DSJ-50E-01: This regular dehumidifier allows you to manually empty the collected moisture or opt for continuous gravity drainage using a connected garden hose (hose not provided).
- Soleus Air DSJ-50EIP-01: For added convenience, this model automatically pumps the collected moisture to a sink, drain, or out of a window. It comes with an internal pump and a 16-foot drain hose for vertical pumping of the collected moisture.
Innovative Design, Easier Dehumidification
With innovative features that separate Soleus Air dehumidifiers from other options, this 50-pint model simplifies residential dehumidification.
- Mirage Display: Illuminates and displays the humidity level so that it can easily be seen from across the room.
- My Home Mode: Unique to Soleus Air, this unit features preset modes to make it simple to set up your dehumidifier to match the conditions of your space. Just choose the preset mode depending on the room. Sleeping Space (55%), Living Space (50%), and Basement (45%).
Additional Features
- Multiple Fan Speeds: Select low, medium, or high fan speeds based on the humidity level in your room or for quieter operation.
- Programmable Timer: Plan ahead by programming the timer for any time between 30 minutes and 24 hours. This upgraded timer allows you to schedule the unit to turn on or off in advance.
- Cold Temperature Operation: Keep dehumidifying even in the winter. This unit continues to function in ambient temperatures as low as 41 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Adjustable Humidistat: Easily set your desired room humidity level with the touch of a button. Choose a humidity range between 35% and 80% in 5% increments.
- Large Water Tank Capacity: If you prefer manual draining, the included bucket can hold up to 8.5 pints of moisture before needing to be emptied.
- Auto Shut-Off: When the bucket reaches full capacity, an indicator light and alarm will alert you. The unit will automatically turn off until the bucket is emptied.
- Quiet Operation: Avoid disruptions during your daily activities by selecting one of three fan speeds. Depending on the speed, this Soleus Air dehumidifier produces less than 53 dB of sound, equivalent to a quiet conversation in a library.
- Auto Defrost: In the event of frost forming on the coils, the automatic defrost function activates, melting any accumulated ice for worry-free operation.
- Auto Restart: After a power outage, the unit will resume operating with your previous settings intact.

Product used in a partially finished basement. Works well. Very quiet. To setup remove from box and turn unit on. Bucket can be awkward to remove when full but that is expected in a 50 pint unit.
