I have been a Vornado customer for 40+ years and have always been impressed with the quality of their products that is until I received this one. In my opinion is simply was not up to par with the other Vornado products that I own but I did like the features and figured I would keep it. I kept the packaging for about 2 weeks until I felt comfortable that it would work ok, and then within a week after discarding the packaging,it developed a noise coming directly from the motor-sounded like a baseball card in the spoke of a bicycle, I confirmed it was nothing simple like a loose shroud or fan blade and then decided to attempt to return it to seller, didn't know if I would be able to due to not having packaging. Contacted customer service and spoke to Steve who was more than helpful, immediately sent me a return authorization and upon receipt I was immediately issued a refund. I am 71 years old and have had many dealings with different companies and as far as I am concerned, this is the way customer service should be but unfortunately usually isn't. This was my first dealing with Sylvane but certainly won't be my last, thank you and keep up the good work.
