The Whirlpool 8,000 BTU Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners provide exceptional cooling, as well as supplemental heating (model with heat only). In addition, these units include dehumidification and fan-only modes for a broader range of use. Take a look at these options.

Cool: 8,000 BTUs of cooling power with a 3-prong 115-volt electrical plug.

Dry: Attack indoor humidity with the ability to remove up to 0.8 pints of moisture per hour.

Fan-Only: When days are moderate, use this mode to introduce and circulate fresh air into your space.

Auto: In this mode, the unit automatically selects the fan speed and operating mode according to the room temperature, matching it to the thermostat setting.

ECO: This mode saves money and energy by running the compressor intermittently and using the fan to continue circulating cooled air.

Sleep: Save energy while you sleep by using this mode, which gradually adjusts the temperature and fan speed for comfortable nights.
Model with Heat
The Whirlpool WHAT081-HAW thru-the-wall AC with heat has all of the operating modes already mentioned and includes 4,200 BTUs of supplemental heat. Not appropriate as a primary heat source, this model provides added warmth when you don’t want to use your home’s furnace or to add focused heat on frigid days.
Universal Wall Fit
The Whirlpool WHAT081-1AW/WHAT081-1HAW wall air conditioners are compatible with a universal wall sleeve (not included) 24.5 to 27 inches wide. These units do include a wall trim kit and rear grille to finish off the outside. This wall sleeve is compatible with these Whirlpool 8,000 BTU ACs.
