The QMark Fahrenheat FBE15002 Electric Convector Baseboard Heater, manufactured by Marley Engineered Products, allows you to save energy by heating only the rooms that you are using. This portable heater features convection heat distribution, convenient carrying handles, dual wattages, and a built-in thermostat to give you maximum control over placement of the heater and the amount of warmth distributed throughout your room.
For your protection and to preserve the life of the appliance, this baseboard heater includes a two-pole thermostat with positive off as well as safety thermal cut-out protection.
Gentle, Even Heat
Unlike some portable heaters that seem to concentrate heat just to the area directly in front of the unit, the Fahrenheat FBE15002 envelopes your space with evenly distributed floor-to-ceiling warmth. Thanks to convection heating, the warmth dispersed is much softer than other forms of heat such as radiant. In fact, the gentleness of convection heat has been compared to the heat you feel while standing in the shade on a warm day.
Requiring only a standard 120-volt outlet to operate, these QMark baseboard heaters use large fins to dissipate heat into a strong convection flow. This means that your area receives all of the available heat produced and achieves 100% energy efficiency because no heat is wasted.
Complete Heat Control
With a built-in adjustable thermostat, the Fahrenheat FBE15002 gives you control over the amount of heat your space receives. To adjust the heat delivered to your space, simply turn the thermostat dial to your desired temperature. Once your room reaches this temperature, the heater will cycle on and off to automatically maintain it. To add more heat to your room, simply turn the thermostat dial to the right. Turn the dial to the left to lower your room temperature.
Additionally, these electric baseboard heaters feature low (1,000 watts) and high (1,500 watts) heat settings. Wattage indicator lights conveniently illuminate the heat setting in use. A handy pilot indicator light ensures that the pilot light is operational.
Safe, Sturdy, and Portable Design
Meeting UL standards, these QMark baseboard heaters were designed with safety and stability in mind. The heaters use two-pole thermostats with positive off. This means that if you want to turn off the heater for maintenance, repairs, or other reasons, you don’t have to worry that electricity might be flowing through the unit because a simple switch indicates that the unit is in the “off” position and electricity is not flowing. Fahrenheat FBE15002 heaters also have safety thermal cut-out protection. This feature checks the entire length of the heater for accidental air blockages and automatically shuts off if one is found.
Fahrenheat FBE15002 heaters will not overwhelm your space either. Standing just 7.5 inches tall, a thin 5.5 inches in diameter, and 45 inches long, these sleek, low-profile heaters easily blend with your décor. High-impact Lexan end panels with built-in handles make moving this 11-pound heater a cinch. Plus, the Lexan end panels provide increased stability for the heater.

Bought this to replace a Farenheat PHH15002A which resides in a bathroom which does not warm up enough with the normal forced air system. The Sylvane is shorter by 3 inches than the old unit which is actually nice as it works very well in the space being less obtrusive. So far, with drawing barely 8.4 Amperes (measured) on the circuit, keeps the room at 74F with the outdoor clime being near zero F... Now we wait to see if it lasts 15 plus years as did the prior (almost identical) unit.

Heater is used on a closed in porch. Is adequate to about 30 degrees outside temp for this space, then a bit chilly.
