Description
Description
The S&P PRF-100 Radon Mitigation Fan features a backward inclined centrifugal blower/motor that can handle 1 inch of static pressure. This radon fan system works by lowering the air pressure beneath your home, drawing out the radon gas and safely venting it through a pipe above the roof. It can be installed on the exterior or through the interior or garage of your home.

Easy to Install
The PRF-100 fan is enclosed in a fully sealed, high-quality plastic housing with duct connections that are sized for an easy fit with standard PVC couplings. It can be quickly mounted on a duct pipe or using a heavy-duty metal mounting bracket (purchased separately).
Radon mitigation fans are usually located in the main attic, garage attic, or on the exterior of your home and must run continuously for radon reduction.
Monitoring the System
To make sure the S&P PRF-100 radon mitigation fan is operating correctly, it is advisable to install a U-Tube Manometer on the system pipe where it can be easily checked. Even with radon mitigation in place and operating correctly, radon levels should be tested from time to time since they can fluctuate over time.
