Increase the efficiency of your home’s HVAC system with the Tjernlund EF-6. The 180 cubic feet per minute of airflow (CFM) helps push air out vents. These booster fans work to supply cooling and heating in living spaces, as well as work with supply and return vents in HVAC systems.
Use in remodeled homes or rooms with extended ducting, boost energy efficiency of HVAC systems, and use with one or several Tjernlund ventilation products.
How They Work
The Tjernlund EF-6 duct booster fans increase airflow of cool or heated air from old HVAC systems, while boosting energy and system efficiency. For systems with uneven cooling and heating, these fans use 180 cubic feet of airflow (CFM) to carry cooled or heated air to vents in residential living spaces. Trusted by HVAC professionals, install these fans in six-inch diameter ducting where static pressure in the HVAC system decreases in flex or sheet metal ducting.
Operation
Designed for multiple use, these hardwired Tjernlund duct booster fans are controlled via two wiring options.
- Manually: Can be controlled manually with an ON/OFF switch or a Tjernlund Variable Speed Controller for variable fan speed.
- Automatic: Use with the Tjernlund Duct Airstat that automatically controls the operation of the fan in both heating and cooling systems. When air is supplied, the fan senses positive pressure and starts the fan.
