Maximum CFM Range
The main draw in selecting a fan for your needs is the airflow CFM, or cubic feet per minute. The Vector Max Climate System provides an impressive 9,000 CFM, which reaches up to 2,500 square feet. We like the fact that you can set it up against a wall and out of the way without disrupting the airflow current–it doesn’t need to have the back open for air to flow through the grills.
Airflow Controls
You can change the airflow or oscillating settings at any time with the easy-to-use touch control panel on the side of the Vector Max. We liked that the info bar on the front will light up in green for fan speed or yellow for oscillation speed, displaying up to 10 notches for either function to show the current level selected.
This unit also features double-clicking controls, so it’s quick and easy to change whenever you need to do so. Simply double-click on the oscillation button to allow for a manual adjustment of airflow direction without having to reposition the unit entirely. Double-clicking the fan speed immediately pushes the speed up to the maximum setting.
We found that the incorporation of the oscillating direction control, which also shows up on the Info Bar, greatly increased the effectiveness of cool air distribution. With 100 degrees of oscillation range, it reduces temperatures up to 25 degrees.
Misting Fan Features
The included water reservoir in the Vector holds 15 gallons of water and also has a water level indicator on the front for convenience. Depending on the misting level, this provides 24-48 hours of operation.
Double-clicking the misting button will momentarily display the water level on the Info Bar for a convenient status check.
Another advantage we discovered is that it will automatically detect when the water in your tank needs to be refilled, by illuminating the LED indicator icon.
Special Features
The LED Info Bar on the front of the Vector Max is a great indicator of the currently selected settings thanks to color-coded lights. We like how convenient it is to see the status of any setting in the same spot.
While the Vector is designed to be a stable upright fan on its own, there are tie downs on either side to offer secure placement on surfaces that may not be level or which are sloped.
Where the Vector Max Climate System is Best Used
This Vector Max is effortless to move around thanks to its all-terrain wheels, 15-foot long power cord, hand truck-like footrest, and handle to easily maneuver and place for effective cooling. It’s ideal for outdoor event venues like weddings and reunions, community areas such as neighborhood pools and clubhouses, restaurants, sporting events, and commercial spaces like warehouses.
