A compact design, this fan easily cools small- to medium-sized rooms, providing whole room circulation through Vortex Technology, multi-directional airflow, and variable circulation for seasonal cooling or heating.
Seasonal Circulation
No matter the season, the Vornado 633DC is versatile in distributing and funneling airflow for a warmer or cooler space, allowing you to either lower or raise your thermostat. Using the whole room Vortex circulation, this energy saver fan offers the following for seasonal cooling and heating:
- Summer – During the summer, evenly distribute cool air from your central air conditioner and push cool air upstairs to make the most of your cooling.
- Spring & Fall – When it’s still cool outside, open up the windows and allow the Vornado 633DC to circulate and evenly cool rooms.
- Winter – During the winter, pull trapped warm air off the ceiling and circulate warmth from heating devices with the Vornado.

Seems like a well built fan from Vornado. Super quiet at the lower settings and moves some serious air at the high ends. I use it to sleep with to have a cool breeze at night. 1 issue I have, but not really that big of an issue. If you turn the fan on at the lowest settings, sometimes it will spin, sometimes it won't or even sometimes it will stop sometime during operation.

Just bought this fan and I love the simple design. I love how you can adjust the fan speed infinity with the ""volume"" style knob. In addition I love that there are no lights on this fan, great for sleeping!

I needed a new fan for the family room. Although this Vornado fan is a bit pricey, it is a nice fan. It moves a lot of air and is very quiet at lower speeds. The variable speed is very nice to have. The room stays nice and cool.

I have a small room in the house with many windows. It gets very warm in the summer even with A/C. This fan moves the cooler air from the rest of the house into this room and keeps it nice and cool.
