Delayed in shipping, but extremely well packaged & easy assembly. Very quite on lowest setting & it moves / circulates a lot of air flow. Very happy with this purchase & to have a 10 warranty is a plus. Unsure of the energy saving at this time. Although a little pricey if it does save energy then product is worth it.

relatively quiet at low to medium speed. The variable speed control is very smooth. I use it in a medium size room, 16 hours a day, circulating air no problem so far. Very nice fan, supposedly lasts 10 year and energy efficient, then it's not pricey.

This is an excellent air circulator. It is powerful and relatively quiet. In most cases, a medium fan speed setting is sufficient because of the larger fan size which allows it to move sufficient air at medium/low settings. It is important to follow Vornado's recommendations regarding fan placement in order to optimize the circulation of air. I've owned Vornado fans in the past and never had any issues with them. The DC model allows precise fine tuning of fan speed. This particular model is made in the USA which is an added bonus.
