These odor reduction filters work great. I use them in my office and in my son's college apartment. They greatly reduce odors and do so fairly quickly. The particle pre-filter portion catches very fine particles. My son's room mate likes to burn candles all the time and these filters collect the smoke and excess odors from the candles. My office is near a sewage treatment facility so sometimes the air quality is poor. These filters have made the location tolerable by eliminating the indoor smells.

I placed one on top of the new Santa Fe Classic Dehumidifier we bought for our basement , there was a musty smell down there mostly from hi humidity and mildew , the charcoal filter started removing the smell over night and is still improving the air smell issues each day , great product .

Product is as advertised, but one slight problem should one plan on purchasing several in advance...These filters are not individually wrapped, so when the plastic is pierced the charcoal begins to absorb moisture. Do not bother with mulit-packs unless you have need of 6 filters immediately.
