Combining UV-light technology with activated carbon and HEPA filtration, the Airpura UV700 Air Purifier is designed to control bacteria, chemicals, and more in commercial applications like hospitals, medical clinics, dental offices, schools, as well as large residential applications. Capable of capturing odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), airborne allergens, and more, this unit delivers two air changes per hour to rooms as large as 2,000 square feet.
Available in two options choose from models with True HEPA filtration or more robust SuperHEPA filtration.

I use this air purifier in my basement to smoke cigars with my friends. I was hesitant to make this purchase because it was a little pricey for my budget but I have to say that it works like a charm. I really like this because after smoking in my home, the air does not travel to my upstairs; not even through my vents. It totally grabs all the smoke allowing you to enjoy what you are doing while purifying the area. If you use this machine for smoking purposes, I suggest that you keep it on until the next day in order to get rid of any smoke odor. What I didn't like (which is minor for me), is that its a little loud when you turn the level all the way up but its definitely not a deal breaker. Also as I have said before, it was a little pricey for my budget at the time but well worth the purchase. I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase.

I use this air purifier to smoke my cigars in my mancave. I was thoroughly surprised to see the results that I got from it. While smoking in my basement, none of the smoke reached my upstairs; not even through my vents. If you smoke in an area where this machine is used, the smell will be gone by the next day providing that you leave it on to continue to purify the air. I'm glad that I bought this because I will be spending my winters inside having cigars with my buddies.
