If you have a large space with significant moisture issues and need a reliable dehumidifier, the AlorAir Sentinel HD90 can help. This Energy Star-rated dehumidifier eliminates up to 90 pints per day at AHAM in spaces up to 2,600 square feet.
Compact in size, it’s efficient and durable and able to function at lower temperatures than many refrigerant dehumidifiers—down to 33.8° Fahrenheit.
Powerful, Efficient Moisture Removal
The AlorAir Sentinel HD90 features a rotary compressor and by-pass air sensor, which allow it to function with a COP of only 2.69 L/kWh, earning it an Energy Star rating. In areas as large as 2,600 square feet, it easily handles high humidity, which can create moisture and water damage issues.
- Moisture Removal Capacity at AHAM: 90 pints per day (80° F—60% RH)
- Moisture Removal Capacity at Saturation: 198 pints per day (90° F—90% RH)
- Moisture Removal Capacity at DOE Standard: 47.71 pints per day (60° F—60% RH)

- Rare Earth Alloy Tube Evaporator: This innovative feature extends the life of the coils by providing protection against leakage and maintaining the coil’s heat transferability.
- Low Temperature Operation: Unlike many refrigerant dehumidifiers, the AlorAir Sentinel operates effectively at temperatures as low as 33.8° Fahrenheit and as high as 104° F.
- Automatic Defrost: Helpful for continuous operation in remote spaces, this function allows the HD90 to automatically run a defrost cycle when frost is detected on the coils, without periodic stopping during the process.

I use this dehumidifier in my basement to keep it dry. I have had it for a couple months and it seems to be working well. It is large enough to dry out 1500 sq. ft.
