I bought this cooler for the patio here in Bakersfield, CA. The fan is noisier than I expected considering the db rating in the specs. The water system leaves about a 4"" area in the middle of the pad unwatered. It does do the job, I'm just not sure I would spend this kind of money again for a cooler. #sweepstakes
