TrolMaster Aqua-X Pro Controller is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Description
Description
If you manage several reservoirs and valve circuits by hand, sooner or later a feed gets missed. The TrolMaster Aqua-X Pro Controller (model NFS-2) puts that work on a schedule by switching 24-volt solenoid valves or 120-volt pumps across your irrigation zones. Its modular layout lets you start small and add zones as your system expands.
You can also keep track of things when you're away from the site. Connect over Wi-Fi to the TrolMaster app (App Store and Google Play) for real-time data and alert notifications. You can also log in to TrolMaster's free web-based software from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet to monitor and adjust the system remotely.
Key Features and Benefits of the TrolMaster Aqua-X Pro Controller
- 30-Zone Capacity: Controls up to 30 individually managed irrigation zones, so each section of your setup can follow its own watering schedule.
- Valve and Pump: Works with 24-volt solenoid valves or 120-volt pumps, so you can match the controller to the irrigation hardware you already run.
- Included AMP-3 Board: The AMP-3 Sensor Board monitors up to 50 stock water tanks or inline dosing systems, keeping every reservoir in view from one place.
- pH/EC Monitoring: Tracks pH and EC readings along with water temperature, helping you spot nutrient drift or an overheating reservoir early.
- Dual Control Lines: Provides 2 dedicated control lines, a pump line and a valve line, so your pump and valve circuits stay organized and easier to trace.
- TrolMaster App: Wi-Fi connection to the TrolMaster app sends real-time data and alert notifications to your phone wherever you are.
- Web-Based Software: Free TrolMaster web software gives you remote control and monitoring from any internet-connected computer or mobile device.
- Dual Voltage Support: Runs on 110-120 or 220-240 volt power, so you can wire it to either standard electrical supply.
- Compact Footprint: Measures 12.21 x 1.99 x 7.4-Inches (L x W x H) and weighs 2 pounds, so it fits in tight spaces near your irrigation manifold.
Planning Your Zone Layout Around 30 Outputs
Before you start wiring, sketch how your irrigation layout maps onto the controller's 30 outputs. Any area that needs different feed timing should get its own zone, since each output can be controlled on its own. Put your pumps on the pump line and your solenoids on the valve line so you can troubleshoot each circuit separately.
Choose a location where the temperature stays between 32 and 122 degrees F, which is the controller's rated operating range. Keep it within reach of your Wi-Fi network too, so app alerts still get to you when you're off site.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you run a multi-zone watering setup and spend too much time checking tanks and timers by hand, the Aqua-X Pro is worth a close look. It suits setups with several reservoirs and dosing lines to watch at once. The zone count and remote alerts matter most, so connect the app on day one. Real-time data will then reach your phone while you're away from the site.
