Info & Guides

Description

The first problem is usually finding a fireplace that fits the wall you already framed. The Remii Deep Indoor/Outdoor Built-In Electric Fireplace solves it with a 12-inch depth that every size in the line shares. You can recess it into drywall or tile, or keep the included black steel surround. Widths start at 45 inches and reach 65 inches.

Indoors, this Remii fireplace can be the focal point of a living room or foyer, and it also works in a bathroom. Outdoors, it suits covered patios and porches. On summer nights you can run the flames with no heat, then turn the heater on when evenings cool down. Use the remote to change settings without getting up.

Key Features and Benefits of the Remii Deep Indoor/Outdoor Built-In Electric Fireplace

  • Dual Heat Output: High heat runs at 1,500 watts and 4,800 BTU. Low heat drops to 750 watts, so you can take the chill off and use less energy.
  • Auto Mode: A built-in thermostat reads the room temperature and picks a heat level (including no heat), so you don't have to keep adjusting it.
  • Flame-Only Mode: You can run the flame effect with the heater off and enjoy the fireplace look all year, even in summer.
  • Flame Colors: The 3 LED light strips let you cycle through 5 flame colors from the remote, and you can set flame speed to 1 of 3 levels.
  • 13 Canopy Colors: The canopy lighting above the flames has 13 color options, so you can match the glow to your décor or the season.
  • Shared Slim Profile: Every width is 11.875 x 23.625-Inches (depth x height), so you plan the same opening no matter which size you pick.
  • Flexible Power: You can plug it in with the 70-inch cord on the left side, or have a professional hardwire it for a cleaner install with no cord.
  • Household Voltage: It runs on 110-120 volts and draws up to 12.5 amps, so it plugs into a standard household outlet.
  • Overheat Protection: If blocked air vents cause the fireplace to overheat, an automatic safety cut-off shuts it down until you clear the problem.
  • CSA Certified: The fireplace carries CSA certification, which shows it has been tested to recognized electrical safety standards.
  • Removable Steel Surround: The black steel surround is included, or you can remove it and set the glass flush to your wall for a frameless look.

Choose Your Width

You can choose the 45-inch, 55-inch, or 65-inch width, depending on your wall span and how big the room is.

  • 45-Inch: Model re11343 is 44.125 inches wide and weighs 103.6 pounds, which makes it a good fit for small offices and covered porches.
  • 55-Inch: Model re11344 is 54.125 inches wide and weighs 121 pounds, so it is sized for living rooms and entertaining spaces where you want a larger flame display.
  • 65-Inch: Model re11345 is 64.125 inches wide and weighs 143 pounds, so you get a wide, commanding view for large living areas and commercial foyers.

Sylvane's Expert Take

If you're finishing a covered patio or building a media wall, this Remii line gives you a recessed fireplace without needing a deep framed cavity. Choose the width by how it looks on your wall, not by heat, because every size puts out the same heat.

Auto mode matters most day to day, since it keeps the room comfortable without you reaching for the remote. Frame the opening before you pick the surround, and the fireplace will look built in.
