This replaces my old broan GSHH3K. This is a great replacement. Smaller, quieter, easy to install, setup took seconds. Used the existing ductwork that was set up for GSHH3K so saved me monty on installation. ERV works better for my use-case (iowa, extremely dry winters) than HRV. So quiet that I need to put my ear to the unit to tell whether it is working when on low setting (~85 CFM). Max CFM measured at about 190 CFM which is below 210 advertised but well above what I need for my 2500 sqft home. Efficiency (on paper) was great compared to some alternatives I looked at - no way for me to test that but all the certifications give me confidence. Can't comment on product long term reliability yet. Will update comment if that falls short. Purchase and delivery experience was also positive. Online pricing visibility helped me make an informed decision. Unit came quickly in excellent condition.

When I spoke with a sales representative to purchase a spare filter for the air exchanger, they did not carry that item. I had to purchase from the manufacture.

Broan AI 210 CFM turned out really great. I wanted to buy the most powerful ERV from Broan because I have 5 people in my household so I need a lot of fresh air coming to my house. I've used to have an old HRV installed in my house that wasn't efficient and it was drying air in the winter pretty bad. Broan ERV is exceeding my expectations. The house is not dry anymore, my skin loves it. As per the efficiency it's much better than the old HRV. Installed temperature sensors in the ERV and track its efficiency. So take a look at these numbers: fresh supply from outside: 53F, supply to house: 64F, return from house: 66F, exhaust to outside: 58F. So it warmed the outside air from 53 to 64 degrees, very impressive.

Works great! What an amazing product. I did a DIY install where I took return air for the exhaust and then I reintroduced the air into the supply with a 90 degree elbow looking down the trunk line. My CFM MAX ended up being 170 which does show some performance decrease vs 210 CFM, but it allows me to get the air quality CO2 down really quickly still for a 2200 sqft house 2-story. Get the touch pad to make use of all the special features this unit offers. I caution using an ERV to reduce radon I found that it did not reduce the levels at all, we were only around 4 or so, in the living space, and radon fluctuates daily, the unit did not bring down radon to any discernable level. Only after getting a radon mitigation system did we see levels under 1 consistently. Wiring to the furnace was easy and the Broan AI team helped with reading the diagram! Also, not having to balance the unit with special HVAC tools made the install so easy!
