Description
Description
Tight tents and rack shelves leave little room for the heat a traditional HID fixture gives off. The NextLight Core Pro LED Grow Light takes the high-intensity output of NextLight's larger Mega Pro and scales it down for these smaller spaces, with a passive heat sink in place of bulky cooling. It has enough power for every growth stage, and it can stand in for a 315-watt CMH or 400-watt MH light while drawing only 210 watts.
The Core Pro's full-spectrum white light closely mimics sunlight, so you get better overall light quality than HPS bulbs provide. With the on-board dimmer, you can run lower intensity for seedlings and vegetative growth, then turn it up when flowering starts.
Key Features and Benefits of the NextLight Core Pro LED Grow Light
- High Efficacy: A system PPF efficacy rating of 2.6 means more of every watt you pay for becomes light your plants can actually use.
- HID Replacement: Outperforms traditional 315-watt CMH and 400-watt MH lights on just 210 watts, so your energy costs drop without losing intensity.
- Grow Footprint: Covers a 3 x 3 feet flowering area or a 4 x 4 feet vegetative area, so one light can handle a small tent or rack shelf.
- 4-Step Dimming: The on-board dimmer sets output at 25, 50, 75, or 100 percent, so you can match light intensity to each growth stage.
- Passive Cooling: An integrated heat sink keeps heat output to 720 BTU, which helps keep your canopy and enclosed tent from overheating.
- 50,000-Hour LEDs: A Q90 life rating above 50,000 hours means you can run many grow cycles before light output starts to fade.
- Certified Safe: DLC Hort qualified, UL 8800 and CE listed, and IP65 wet rated, so you can install it with confidence in humid grow spaces.
- Plug and Play: Comes with a 9.5-foot power cord and mounting hardware, with the power supply and dimming cord in the box, so you can hang it the day it arrives.
- Slim Profile: Measures 23.25 x 23.25 x 2.75-Inches (L x W x H) and weighs 11 pounds, which leaves you more headroom in short tents.
Choose Your Voltage
Both Core Pro models deliver the same light output and differ only in the electrical service they run on.
- 110-120 Volt Model: This model draws 210 watts at 1.75 amps and uses a 5-15P plug, so you can plug it straight into a typical household outlet.
- 220-240 Volt Model: This model draws the same 210 watts at under 1 amp, so you can run more fixtures on each circuit in a larger grow room.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you're growing in a tent with a 3 x 3 feet footprint or across rack shelves and want to retire a hot HID fixture, the Core Pro suits that space well. The number to know is its 2.6 system PPF efficacy, which turns more of your power into usable light. Make full use of the dimmer: start seedlings at 25 or 50 percent and go to full output once flowering begins. If you plan to fill a room, pick the 240-volt version, since its lower current draw fits more lights on each circuit.
