Transform your window into a powerful fresh air circulator or exhaust fan with the Vornado TRANSOM Window Fan with handy remote control or with Alexa-enabled operation Featuring a low-profile silhouette, weather resistant enclosure, and 4 speed touch controls, the Transom is easy to install and use to create cooling comfort using fresh outside air.
One-button transition from fan to exhaust makes it simple to remove stale, hot air from the room, then change to cooling fresh airflow. Available in your choice of black or white.
A New Window Fan
No more wresting a box fan into the window to circulate cool, fresh air into your home. The Vornado Transom is a new kind of window fan with exhaust capabilities as well.
- Fresh Air Circulation: Bring in the fresh air via the air chamber, using 4 fan speeds to control the airflow at the speed that works best for you.
- Stale Air Exhaust: Reverse the airflow to exhaust stale, hot air from the room—especially useful when returning home after work or vacation.
When the window fan is turned off, the air chamber automatically rotates into a closed position.
Alex-Enabled Model
The Vornado Transom AE can be controlled through your Wi-Fi network using the Alexa App from your mobile device. Simple to set up, tell Alexa to turn the fan on/off, select a fan speed, or specify airflow to direct in-flow or exhaust flow.
Simple Installation
An extra-long 8-foot power cord makes placing and using the Transom window fan simple. You can also route the power cord as need, using included clips to secure it in place.
- Low-Profile Design: At 6.75 inches high, Transom is half the height of traditional window fans, with a pleasing low-profile silhouette.
- Easy to Handle: Convenient carry handles and weighing only about 10 pounds, this window fan is easy to install.
- Sealed Fit: The TRANSOM features a soft-fit system with six durable foam blocks designed to fit above and below, solidly sealing off windows for a snug fit. Use in single and double-hung windows 26 to 40 inches wide.
Integrated Thermostat
This unique window fan includes an integrated thermostat that can be used when the fan is in Auto mode. Simply touch the thermostat icon to activate and use the arrow keys to set your ideal temperature. The selected setting will flash for a moment, then the current room temperature will be displayed.
Also included as a handy remote control which allows you to change from airflow to exhaust, as well as use the Auto mode and temperature adjustment.

- Weather Resistant: Its weather-resistant exterior is also UV protected making it durable and protected against outdoor elements.
- Use with Screens: No need to remove window screens. Transom fits neatly into the window so you can leave your screen in place—no insect intrusion.
- Auto-Dimming Display: All non-essential lights are turned off after a few seconds of inactivity to reduce light pollution as well as save energy.

It looks so much better than any other model of window fan and I love the remote and options. My only complaints would be that there's no option to change the direction of the air flow (up, down, left, right) and the foam blocks to keep the outside from coming in just don't work well. I wish it had the accordion feature like most models have.

Perfect form factor. Impressive quality. Moves a lot of air with low noise. 5/5. Down side: I was hoping it would remember the last settings so I could control it with a smart plug, but it does not. (There is an Alexa model, but I don't support that.)
