I am extremely pleased with this Console Humidifier!. Once I had it set up properly it has performed to my highest expectations. I purchased it because I have an upstairs open loft area that serves as my studio where I keep several expensive guitars. The natural humidity in the room is low 30%. Recommended for best guitar environment is 40-50%. Running at the lowest fan level (barely audible) and set at 35%, it maintains a constant humidity in mid 40's. Because it is operating at such a minimal level, I only need to refill the water tanks about every 3 weeks. The model I purchased is smart looking--black body w/ grey trim. Even my wife has to admit it blends well with her decor! Highly recommended!

mixed feelings. The feel of the product is cheap, very, very cheap. Frustratingly cheap. I will be throwing this away in a year because it is cheap. Think plastic panels, weak water wick containers, just cheap feeling. Having said that, it is quiet and simple enough to operate. I got the unit fired up about the same time we have had a front move through, so I am not sure how much it works, our outside humidity is up also. It does not seem to be suing as much water as I would have expected, but it does seem to be working well based on humidity numbers.
