Humidify your whole home or other spaces, up to 3,200 square feet, with ease when you install the Desert Spring Rotary Disc Furnace Humidifier. Capable of outputting up to 14 gallons of soothing moisture every day, this rotary disc humidifier installs directly onto the ductwork of most forced air furnaces and heat pumps.
Designed to be a low-maintenance comfort solution, the Desert Spring Furnace Humidifier is efficient too, putting 100% of the water that enters the humidifier into your home's air.
Note: There are two options for installation with this humidifier. Select the Hardwired option to attach directly to a furnace or electrical junction box. Or select the Plug option to use the humidifier with a regular household outlet.
Set-It-And-Forget-It Humidification
Take back control of your home's comfort with the Desert Spring Rotary Disc Humidifier. It uses a unique rotary disc design to provide proper humidification to your space.
- Attaches to Ductwork: This humidifier works with any forced air furnace system, including gas, oil burning, and electric furnaces, plus heat pumps.
- Rotating Discs: Water enters into the unit's water reservoir, where flat plastic discs rotate. The discs pick up a thin layer of water that evaporates in your furnace's airflow, dispersing moisture to every corner of your home.
- Energy Efficient: Because the Desert Spring furnace humidifier uses 100% of the water that enters the unit, not only is it efficient, but you don't need a drain (unless you choose either AutoFlush model) to install it.
Multiple Set-Ups Available
Every building's needs are different, that's why this furnace is available in three different configurations. Be sure to select the package that works best for you.
- Desert Spring DS3200 Humidifier Only: This package includes the furnace humidifier, as well as a humidistat and all required fittings for installation. It is also available with or without a plug-in transformer.
- Humidifier and AutoFlush System: Particularly helpful in areas with hard water, the AutoFlush system removes minerals from the humidifier by flushing the reservoir at user-set intervals from once per hour to once per week. It is also available with or without a plug-in transformer.
- Humidifier, AutoFlush System, and Anti-Scale Filter: For even more protection from hard water, this package combines the AutoFlush System with an anti-scale filter that eliminates more than 95% of scale-forming minerals like calcium. It is also available with or without a plug-in transformer.

I feed my disk humidifier with Reverse Osmosis water (RO). We had this humidifier many years ago on our old furnace and loved it. Had to buy another one. When the package came with the humidifier it contained everything needed to install!

Easy to install, pretty much every part included. Unit is a tad heavy when loaded with water so I needed to add a stiffener inside my cold air return to prevent the weight from pulling it out too far. So far it works great and is easy to clean and works well on my ground source heat pump where duct air isn't super hot, it still humidifies well. . The auto-drain seems to act a bit strange (not running when expected) but I may not have that figured out quite right yet,

I had a Desert Spring humidifier in my previous house. With no water panel to change, my only expense in 15 years was one disc rotating motor for about $25. I cleaned out mineral scale once per year. The current model has improvements including automatic flush valve, which should reduce scale.
