Built for water damage restoration and remediation professionals, the Protimeter SurveyMaster Moisture Detector searches for moisture in various building materials, including drywall, wood, siding, tile, insulation, carpeting, and even fiberglass boat hulls. Designed with two detection technologies in one, this noninvasive meter can find moisture with pinpoint accuracy or scan larger areas for accurate mapping. It's easy to hold and operate, making it a user-friendly device.
Upgraded Model
The upgraded Protimeter SurveyMaster now has a larger display for easy reading, an automatic calibration check every 50 power cycles, and a battery life that is now three times longer than previous models.
Two Detection Types
Use the Protimeter Moisture Meter’s pin mode to test for moisture in materials like drywall or wood or to determine whether a stain on a ceiling is still retaining moisture or has been repaired. Two sharp pins penetrate surfaces a maximum of 0.4 inches. An electrical current passes between the 2 pins, and the amount of resistance is relayed to you as a moisture reading.
This sensor is also equipped with a search mode for a quick survey of the moisture level in walls and floors or to determine if there are areas that may require further investigation. It's great for areas like wallpaper where inserting pins isn’t practical; it emits electromagnetic signals to measure moisture content up to 0.75 inches below the surface.

This kit is the ultimate moisture detection kit for building water damage inspections. The SEEK Shot Pro is an advanced thermal imaging camera that allows professionals to photograph structures and identify problem areas on the spot.
The SEEK Shot Pro has a 320 X 240 Thermal Sensor with a 57-degree field view. This sensor captures clear, high-resolution images that allow you to diagnose problems accurately.
Track Changes Over Time
The Protimeter SurveyMaster Moisture Meter has a reference mode in both measurement types. This mode helps determine whether remediation actions have been successful. Original moisture level readings are stored, and subsequent readings are displayed below the original to see whether levels are above or below the original point.
