A variable-speed inverter condenser works with a multi-position air handler, so you get mini-split efficiency and the whole-home reach of a traditional ducted HVAC system. Each system comes with your choice of auxiliary heat strip and line set length.

 

A licensed professional must install this system. The included installation kit and No-Vac Quick Connect line set options help your installer work faster. The air handler has a self-diagnostics panel and a removable filter, and its modular build makes service visits simpler.

Choose Your Auxiliary Heat and Line Set Configuration

You can configure this ducted heat pump by auxiliary heat strip (None, 5 kW, 8 kW, 10 kW, or 15 kW) and by line set length (No Line Set, 15, 25, 35, or 50 feet).

The None configuration runs on the inverter heat pump alone. It suits homes where the heat pump's heating range already covers your coldest nights. The 5 kW and 8 kW heat strips add electric resistance backup for moderate extra demand, and the 10 kW and 15 kW strips give you the most backup heat for long, severe cold spells. The system runs on 208-230-volt power, so confirm your electrical service with your installer.

Pick your line set length to match your layout. The 15-foot and 25-foot No-Vac Quick Connect line sets fit installs where the condenser sits close to the air handler, while the 35-foot and 50-foot lengths cover longer runs. With the No Line Set configuration, your installer supplies a custom copper run sized for your home.

Decide on the heat strip first. If your winters regularly drop below zero, a 10 kW or 15 kW strip gives you a safety margin, and milder areas can skip it.
