The Aeric 9,000 BTU Portable AC AERP051AW is a compact and effective way to cool and dehumidify small to medium-sized spaces, up to 400 square feet, like bedrooms, offices, living rooms, and basements. It features powerful airflow, quiet operation, and multiple simple operation and control functions.

Powerful Airflow: Cool spaces with 9,000 BTUs of power (5,500 BTU SACC Standard) and a max airflow of 155 CFM.
Three Operating Modes: This Aeric AC features cooling, fan-only, and dehumidification modes. The fan-only mode can operate at either high or low speeds.
Comfortable Noise Level: At the highest fan setting, this model only produces an indoor noise level of 50 dB, similar to a normal conversation.
24-Hour Timer: Delay AC startup and shutdown with the 24-hour timer function. Users can set the timer in one-hour increments.
Easy Transportation: Rolling casters, a 6-foot power cord, and integrated carrying handles make this air conditioner easy to transport from room to room.

Installation and Care

This air conditioner must connect to the included exhaust ducting and be installed through a compatible window for maximum efficiency. The exhaust ducting will vent all unwanted hot air produced by the air conditioning process and a small amount of moisture collected by the system. Other installation and care considerations are:

Window Installation: This model includes everything needed to install the exhaust hose through a standard or sliding window. The included window panel fits window openings from 20 to 47 inches.
Washable Filter: The washable filter should be removed and cleaned after every 100 hours of use using a vacuum and a light solution of soapy water.
Drainage: This air conditioner generates condensation, which can be drained with a 0.51-diameter hose (not included) or a drain pan and the water outlet plug. In certain lower-humidity situations, some excess moisture is expelled through the exhaust ducting.
