Versatile, this redesigned unit dehumidifies and circulates fresh air too, making it perfect for use in bedrooms, sunrooms, and any area with access to a window for ventilation.
Smart Portable Air Conditioner
Indoor comfort just got a lot easier with the Friedrich ZHP14DB. Now featuring Wi-Fi integration, you can control and monitor your indoor temperature from anywhere using your smartphone. Download the Friedrich Go app (iTunes, Google Play), connect it to your AC and go. Once connected you can change the operating mode, adjust the temperature, create schedules, and much more.

Designed for year-round use, the Friedrich 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner features multiple operating modes to make it easy to find the right temperature in any season.
- Powerful Cooling: With 12,000 BTUs (ASHRAE)/8,300 BTUs (DOE Standard) of cooling power, you’ll stay comfortable all summer long.
- Heat Pump: Its built-in heat pump, delivers 9,500 BTUs of supplemental warmth when temperatures start to drop.
- Fan: Circulate fresh air throughout your space with fan-only mode. Additionally, this unit and its 3-speed fan feature an Auto setting that maintains your set temperature.
- Dehumidify: Eliminate sticky and stuffy indoor spaces. This model can remove 3.8 pints of excess moisture every hour.
Self-Evaporating Design
Never empty a water tank again. This Friedrich 12,000 BTU Portable AC with Heat Pump is designed to eliminate virtually all condensate. In the event, more moisture is collected than can be expelled, and the condensate does become full, the unit will automatically turn off.

Cools well, but for the ZHP14DB heat mode, the ""water full"" alarm wakes us up every night, and requires draining. The drain pump is weak, the manual bad, & Friedrich technical support doesn't respond.

Overall solid product. The window pane is thin and cheap. I likely will never use it for heat and have read bad reviews over the heat function but will not comment on that. For A/C, it works fantastic. Great design, the app works well and the faceplate is useful. Feels well built.
