Its inverter compressor ramps up and down gradually, which cuts wasted energy and brings your room to the set temperature sooner. You can choose it with or without a heat mode.

    Exhaust hose too short, no replacement or extension availabl

    Cooling much better than a smaller (other brand) conditioner. Unfortunately, the exhaust hose is too short to reach a basement window (only half below ground). Whynter has no replacement or extension hose for this model???
