It sits in a sealed wall opening all year, so you never have to set it up and take it down each season. Apartments, offices, and bedrooms are the natural fit. It comes in Cool Only and Cool/Heat configurations.

If you're replacing an old sleeve-mounted air conditioner in an apartment or condo, check your wall opening and outlet before anything else, because those 2 things decide whether this model works for you. Go with the Cool Only model if a furnace or boiler already heats the room, since it runs more efficiently. The Cool/Heat model is worth it in spring and fall, when it can warm a cool room so you can leave your main heating off a little longer.
