Improve air quality in multi-family buildings with the Fantech FIT 120E-M Low Profile AC Motor ERV. This compact ERV installs on the ceiling with a 10-inch installed depth to ensure the perfect fit.
The Fantech FIT 120E-M series features an efficient energy recovery core that effectively transfers moisture and heat from the outgoing air to the incoming fresh air. This process minimizes the energy needed to maintain a comfortable indoor environment, providing up to 127 CFM of fresh airflow.
Key Features and Benefits of the Fantech FIT 120E-M Series
- Energy Recovery Core: The energy recovery core comprises a durable polymer membrane facilitating water vapor transport. This core exhibits high humidity permeability and is freeze-tolerant and water-washable.
- Customizable Airflow Control: You can adjust and control the airflow according to your specific space requirements from 40 to 127 CFM at 0.4 inches w.g. The settings can be easily managed through the external electrical box or a separately installed wall control.
- Frost Prevention Mechanism: When the outdoor air temperature reaches 14 degrees F or lower, the appliance automatically engages a preset frost prevention sequence where the supply blower halts operation, while the exhaust blower switches to high speed. Normal operation resumes after the sequence completes.
- Convenient and Secure Duct Connections: It has metal collars with rubber gaskets to ensure the 5-inch side port duct connections are tightly sealed for a seamless integration with your existing ductwork.
- Drain-Free Design: No drain is required for installation. Moisture in the incoming air is simply transferred to the outgoing air during the circulation process.
- Included Air Filters: Two washable, UL900-certified, electrostatic panel-type air filters are included to effectively eliminate impurities from the indoor air. A MERV 3 filter is also included, with the option to upgrade to a MERV 8 filter.
Choose the Right Model
You can select the best Fantech FIT 120E setup for your space with multiple configurations available. There are also standard versions of the FIT 120E for non-mirrored floor plan layouts, as well as ERVs equipped with EC motors in standard and mirrored configurations.
- ERV Only (FIT 120E-M or FIT 120E-M-HC): The Fit 120E is a perfect solution for condos and apartments without a mechanical room and requiring installation above a false ceiling. This model is available with a 3-foot-long power cord (ERV Plug) or a hardwired connection (ERV Hardwired).
- ERV with Shut-Off Damper (FIT 120E-D-M or FIT 120E-D-M-HC): The integrated mechanical shutoff damper in this Fantech ERV ensures that during standby or defrost mode, the supply ductwork doesn't allow outside air to be drawn back into the space. It includes a 3-foot-long power cord (ERV with Shut-Off Damper - Plug) or comes as a hardwired connection (ERV with Shut-Off Damper - Hardwired).
