Cooling Made Easy
Fighting back against rising summer temperatures has never been easier than with the Friedrich Chill Window AC. Featuring 6,000 BTUs of cooling power and versatile features, it’ll keep small rooms comfortable on even the hottest days.
- Auto Mode: Set your desired temperature between 61 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit, and this setting will choose the right operating mode and fan speed to achieve it.
- Cool Mode: Uses 6,000 BTUs of cooling power to quickly bring the temperature down in your room.
- Fan Mode: For those days when you just want a circulation of air, this mode uses the unit’s multi-speed fan (low, medium, high) to keep the air flowing.
- Dry Mode: Remove up to 0.9 pints of excess moisture from your air every hour.
Control It From Anywhere
Operating and keeping tabs on your air conditioner has never been easier. With its Wi-Fi-enabled control, the Friedrich 6,000 BTU Window AC makes it simple to stay in touch with the unit. Just download the FriedrichConnect App (iTunes, Google Play) and connect your smartphone to the air conditioner. Once set up, you’ll be able to adjust your temperature and fan speed, create 7-day schedules, control multiple units, and more.

- Slide-Out Chassis: This model has a slide-out chassis design, which allows for more permanent installation, like through-the-wall installation, and does not require a wall sleeve. The design also simplifies access for routine maintenance.
- Quiet Performance: Uses heavy-duty insulation and a stiffened sheet metal casing to deliver a noise-reducing performance.
- Washable Air Filter: A washable air filter helps you maintain clean indoor air, and onboard alerts let you know when the filter needs to be cleaned.

Replacing an 8K BTU Kuhl for bedroom. Kuhl is awesome but too much for that space. This install was tough due to small screws for the exterior brackets. Faceplate removal NOT as listed in booklet.

Considered central air for tenant. Discovered these units have the lowest cost of operation for my situation as landlord pays electric. Made for thru-wall and window, but may offer slide-in replacement if it ever fails.
