Easily set and program the air conditioner with the free Friedrich GO app. Easily connect in minutes to any computer, phone, or tablet and create a customizable seven-day schedule for home, away, or nighttime preferences. Power off or on the units, set temperature timer, and fan speeds to reduce energy consumption and wear and tear on the air conditioner. It also pairs with any Amazon Alexa or Google Home device.

I picked this AC because Friedrich is a top of the line brand and it did not disappoint! I had previously ordered a cheaper AC that I had to return which was difficult and exhausting. This time I chose Sylvane and a top notch brand and it is incredible. Shipping was fast and customer service was excellent. The AC is incredible at cooling my two bedroom apartment. It has dry mode which can dehumidify on high humid days which is fantastic as well as wifi enabled ability and a good remote. It came with extras to get a good deal in just about any window which made install easy, I put it in myself and I'm a single mom with limited knowledge on these things but it was a breeze. We had a strange weather condition that gave us 118 degree temps on Oregon by the coast and this AC kept me cool throughout the entire heatwave. Such a great company also a fabulous AC.

If you need a window unit I wouldn't go with anyone but Friedrich. Cools super quick and extremely quiet. Keeps the whole first level of my home very comfortable and my electric bills haven't been bad at all.

As an Air Conditioner it works as expected but expected more The instructions to connect to WiFi are more than very poor, I lucked into getting it to work. That said once connected it's great. The remote is VERY directional if your aim is off a smidge it wont work If you start the unit via the WiFi App the remote needs to be ""turned on"" or it won't work, really??? I was planning to buy the 6,000 BTW for another room but unless I can be guaranteed the sides actually fit and bottom air gap is gone i'll look elsewhere or just keep my old G.E. unit
