- Internal Pump: The most convenient way to get rid of collected moisture is to turn on the internal condensate pump, which pushes water up to 15 feet away into a sink, out a window or other location. Its included drain hose is nearly 17 feet long.
- Automatic Humidity Control: A built-in humidistat allows you to set your ideal humidity level from 30% to 90% relative humidity in increments of 5%. This Friedrich works to maintain it without any work from you.
- Easily Portable: Four rolling casters and two side-grip carry handles make it easy to transport this dehumidifier from room to room. This compact dehumidifier stands at 15 x 23.25 x 12 inches.

Alternate Draining Options
If you don’t want to use the internal pump, the Friedrich D50B1B has two other draining options:
- Continuous Drainage: Add the included hose to the back of the unit for continuous draining to a floor drain or other location.
- Manual Emptying: If you’re not using your dehumidifier continuously, you can simply empty the bucket when it’s full. A light on the control panel will notify you it’s full and operation will cut off until the bucket is emptied.

- 24-Hour On/Off Timer: Set your Friedrich dehumidifier to turn on or off up to 24 hours in advance, conserving energy and ensuring it only runs when needed.
- Long Power Cord: Easily plug in the 6-foot power cord to a nearby outlet.
- Multiple Fan Speeds: This portable dehumidifier is equipped with a two-speed fan.
- Operating Temperature: Use the Friedrich D50B1B in any room between 41 and 90 degrees F.
- Automatic Defrost: A defrost cycle will run if frost build up on the internal coils during operation - then return to normal operation.
- Reusable Filter: The Friedrich 50-pint dehumidifier includes a washable air filter that easily slides out of the front panel.
- Full Bucket Indicator: The bucket full indicator will illuminate on the display panel when the water condensate bucket is full. To prevent overflow, it automatically shuts down until the drain bucket is emptied and replaced.

Sorry, you did not leave enough room above for proper reply. Your product is good, but we must use continuous water removal so we use our hose (drain is more than 15 ft away). However, it drips continuously at the connection site even though the hose is installed properly,ie. not bent, not raised, etc.

I bought this dehumidifier to replace an older one which stopped working. The unit is in the basement to remove the moisture there. The Friedrich came with a built it pump which eliminates emptying the bucket by hand. The unit comes with a long hose that plugs easily into the unit. The other end was inserted into my sewer line and works great. I would buy this unit again and works as advertised.
