- Continuous Gravity Draining: A standard garden hose can be attached to the left drain port, with the other end extended to a convenient drain location.

- Continuous Pump Draining: A drain hose of ½-inch (12.7mm) in diameter, and not longer than 16.4 feet should be used for this set-up. It attaches to the right drain port and can be extended up or horizontally to a drain location in a sink, out a window, or other location.
Controlling The Dehumidifier
An electronic control panel is located on the top of the unit with touch buttons for powering the unit on/off, setting the relative humidity level, selecting the fan speed, using the on/off timer, and the pump.
We also like that the control panel displays the relative humidity, and features indicator lights for the pump when in use, a full water bucket, and filter cleaning.
Included Air Filtration
Most portable room dehumidifiers include some type of air filtration, and this Frigidaire 50-pint model has a washable antimicrobial air filter which captures harmful allergens, kills germs, and helps manage odors. When cleaning is necessary, we found that the filter is easily accessed by opening the back grille and removing the filter.
