As warm air from your furnace flows into the humidifier, it meets a water-soaked vapor pad, which evaporates moisture to deliver humidity throughout your home.

Manual Humidistat
Included with the General Aire evaporative humidifier is the MHX3C manual humidistat, featuring:

The General Aire 1042-LH features the patented KineticFlo water distribution trough design to ensure the vapor pad is thoroughly and consistently moistened. As water flows through the trough, it is evenly dispersed across the pad, providing up to 19 gallons of humidified air daily. The Bypass Duct can be mounted to the left or right.
